World War II
By Rhiannon Harrison
On September 1st 1939, my Great Grandfather “Frank” joined the Australian National Army Corp.  He went over to Egypt to fight to save ur country.  They set fire to highly flammable items to try to kill enemies.  They would hide in bushes, long grass and in trenches with their camouflage uniforms on, also armed with the deadly weapons.
After 61 day of fighting, Frank lost his bestfriend in a fatal accident.  Frank was devastated that he lost his friend, but he knew his country was on the line, so he powered on through.  After 6 year Australia finally won.  Frank came home to reunite with his family, but tragically lost his life to cancer.
